Another weekend is upon us and as a self-dubbed home-body, I thought I would share with you my top 5 reasons why you should stay in tonight/ this weekend.
- It saves you money
Obviously, if you don’t go out, you don’t have to spend money. No money is lost on a new outfit, alcohol, cabs, food; that money can sit nicely in your back account.
Don’t kid yourself, there are literally hundreds of shows that you need to catch up on. If you go out, you will continue to be behind on these shows and you will ultimately through your phone across the room when you read spoilers on the internet.
No one genuinely likes being herded into a crowded bar or nightclub. Just think about all that nasty BO and sweat that you’ll be passing up if you just stay home. Unless that BO and sweat is from you and in that case please shower. Please.
Unless you are the designated driver, you are most likely going to get a hangover the next day if you go out. Even if you don’t drink that much, chances are your drink is full of sugar and that you aren’t going to mix in a couple of waters so the next morning you will feel groggy. If it’s not that making you groggy, then it’ll definitely be a lack of sleep that will which brings me to my next point…
If you go out, chances are you’ll be out till the wee hours of the morning. Even if you go to bed at 3am and still get a solid 8 hours, it still isn’t as good as falling asleep at a regular time and getting a full 8 hours. Plus, if you don’t go to bed until 4am and get up 8 hours later, there goes a good chunk of your day. Go to bed at a normal hour, get a solid 8 hours, and seize the next day.
