I flew out of Detroit (3+ hours away from where I live, but come on, I saved myself like $300) and as it goes, the cheapest way to get from Detroit to Vegas and back is with Spirit Airlines. Spirit is notorious not only for their cancelled flights and sub-par customer service, but also their abhorrent baggage fees. HOWEVER, I digress because this airline is an ultra-low cost carrier (ULCC) which means that they offer the bare bones of flying in order to pass on the savings to us consumers – hence why flying out of Toronto or Buffalo with airlines such as Air Canada or United were basically double the price.
I’m back with a new cover! Watch below for my cover of Sirens by Cher Lloyd.
During my stay in Las Vegas, I stayed at the Paris, which is an extremely central-located hotel right across the road from the Bellagio. The Paris is mostly what you expect it to be – classy, a little bit cheesy, and classically-themed. From the outside, you first notice the looming mock Eiffel Tower that glows so beautifully at night. Upon entering the casino, you are hit with some hard cheese. The inside is modeled to look as if the Eiffel Tower was built right into the casino, complete with a sky mural painted on the ceiling. From the day we got there to the day we left, the casino and adjacent restaurants were bustling with people.
I haven’t written a blog post in quite a while and the reason why is because I wasn’t inspired to create any content. I know there are countless blog resources that say you should stick to a schedule and put out a post at the same time every week, but I found that that stunted my creativity. I don’t choose when ideas come to me; I can’t force ideas to come forth, so for the past little while, I have been on a hiatus due to lack of ideas.
With my vocal lessons at their end, I decided that my last lesson involve shooting a few live videos to have and to maybe post. Well, I decided to turn that maybe into a definitely so here is the first video from that day!
